Jethro (don’t you just love the name?!) is an adorable male Bloodhound that was rescued by his new mommy Lisa, one of our clinics most devoted dog owners. Bloodhounds are a very unique and interesting breed. They are kind, patient, mild mannered and loveable dogs. They are gentle, affectionate and excellent with children. Bloodhounds are able to follow any scent and have been known to successfully follow trails over 100 hours old, and stay with the trail for over 100 miles. The Bloodhounds evidence is admissable in a court of law! One of the oldest breeds known, this breed is more than one thousand years old. We wish Jethro all the best in his new home. He is one very lucky dog!
